Festival of Science & Engineering

The Festival at Snapdragon is introducing a new space: The Art Pavilion. This space serves as a vibrant canvas for students and community groups to showcase their creative works of art, infusing the STEM experience with artistic flair. Be sure to mark your calendars!
Cherry Blossom Festival
As Spring arrives in San Diego, Balboa Park is poised to become a site for unlimited photo opportunities during this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival. From March 7-10, festivalgoers can experience all aspects of Japanese culture from Kamishibai theater to more than 200 cherry trees spread over the grounds of the Japanese Friendship Garden.
San Diego Latino Film Festival
Media Arts Center San Diego’s San Diego Latino Film Festival runs March 14 – 24 at AMC Mission Valley & Digital Gym CINEMA. 150+ Latino movie premieres, celebrities, filmmakers, parties, Sonido Latino Concerts, Arte Latino. Sabor Latino Food Fest, y más! All proceeds benefit Media Arts Center San Diego, a non-profit, and its youth media arts education programs throughout San Diego County.
Cool Women
Each year, Girl Scouts San Diego honors exemplary women whose personal and professional lives make them consummate role models for girls. On March 21, the Cool Women Luncheon will hosts a mentoring session and ceremony where these female leaders share the spotlight with Emerging Leader Girl Scouts, who are recognized for their outstanding achievements by their mentors and community leaders.
