Be the Light
The 10th Anniversary Be the Light Gala, an evening of celebration and continued impact, features musical entertainment, small bites and dinner, event swag bags, moving testimonials from veteran recipients. All proceeds from the event will benefit Shelter to Soldier’s programs serving military, veterans, and homeless dogs.

Haute with Heart Fashion Show
This year will mark the 44th year for the St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center’s Haute with Heart fashion event. On August 13th, Haute with Heart will feature a fashion show, special up-lifting performances by their students, delicious luncheon, live auction, silent auction, opportunity drawing, and fabulous boutique shopping.

Wines of Baja
Any wine connoisseur will not want to miss the Valle de Guadalupe Fiestas de la Vendimia, or Wine Harvest Festival. Through August 21st, you can attend an array of exclusive parties, galas, concerts and dinners celebrating the festival’s regional cuisine and local wine.

Lemon Festival
There’s nothing sour about the Third Avenue Village Association’s Lemon Festival which transforms downtown Chula Vista into a lemon-filled oasis. Bring the whole family for a day of fun on Sunday, August 13 to enjoy fresh-squeezed lemonade, lemon pie eating competitions to games, lemonade, and cute pups in lemon outfits, this is a free celebration you don’t want to miss.

Under the Stars
On August 20, the 26th annual Symphony at Salk is a spectacular evening under the stars featuring guest artist Ben Platt. The evening is attended by Salk supporters who comprise San Diego’s most prominent leaders in science, philanthropy, government, media and industry. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner on the courtyard amidst Louis Kahn’s masterwork of modern architecture.

Baja Beach Fest
For the first time, The Reggaeton and Latin Music Festival is expanded to 2 separate weekends of 3-days each! On August 13-15 and 19-21st celebrate and uplift Latin culture, and the incredible music, people, food, and amazing energy that comes with it. Rosarito Beach will welcome world-renowned legends and pioneers of Reggaeton to the newer artists who are impressing billions of fans worldwide.
