Father Joe’s Villages recently held their annual charity gala at the hotel with the theme “Wave of Possibilities.”
“Working with The US Grant is more than just selecting a venue – it is finding a strong partner in our mission to end homelessness, one life at a time,” shared Emily Davis, Developmental Officer, Special Events & Corporate Partnerships. The expert culinary team worked alongside Father Joe’s Villages to create a customized, locally sourced menu which included “sand-dollar” madeleine cookies to match the events ocean theme.
“One of my favorite parts of the planning process is selecting the menu. I will never forget showing up to the tasting and the pleasant surprise of being offered completely custom specialty cocktails and desserts to meet our event theme. I am continually impressed by The US Grant’s time and creativity to think beyond the menu to create a memorable meal for our guests,” added Davis.
In addition to intimate events and grand-scale galas, The US Grant is also the ideal placed to say “I Do.” Celebrate your special day in an enchanting and magical setting. Choose from one of the hotel’s elegant ballrooms or dance the night away under the glow of chandeliers in the Crystal Ballroom. Expert event planners will assist with vendor recommendations and coordination to ensure seamless execution.
“On the day of the event, The US Grant Team made it easy for us to bring in a variety of outside vendors for live music, decor and rentals, florals, photo and video,” said Davis. “Their banquet management team executed our vision flawlessly and worked quickly to overcome any challenges that occurred. Our guests always have an incredible experience and it makes us want to keep returning year after year!”
