STARRY STARRY NIGHT #LIGHTINGTHEWAY
Voices for Children invites the San Diego community to join its annual Starry Starry Night in #lightingtheway for local foster children on October 3, 2020. The virtual event will kick off the organization’s 40th year of service to children in San Diego County foster care.
Starry Starry Night has become known as one of San Diego’s premier philanthropic events and is the single largest fundraiser benefiting children in foster care. In a virtual format, its purpose remains the same: to raise critical funds to support Voices for Children’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, which provides caring volunteer advocates to children who have been abused and neglected.
Live-Stream Program
The evening will begin with a 7:00 p.m. pre-event show that includes entertainment streamed live to attendees’ homes or small gatherings. The main event begins at 7:30 p.m. with a celebration of VFC’s outstanding CASA of the Year, moving impact stories from the CASA program, irresistible live auction packages, and a chance to transform the life of a vulnerable child by virtually raising a paddle.
Ways to Participate
Starry Starry Night is free and open to the entire community; however, registration is required. Guests are invited to enjoy delicious food and special touches to make for a memorable evening. Customizable food and beverage packages from Waters Catering are available, with a percentage of proceeds donated back to Voices for Children. Gala-on-the-Go packages delivered directly to attendees will further enhance the experience.

Voices of San Diego invita a la comunidad de San Diego a participar de su evento anual Starry Starry Night, a beneficio de los niños en situación de guarda de nuestra comunidad que se realizará el 3 de octubre del 2020. Este evento virtual inaugurará los 40 años de la institución dedicados a servir a los niños en guarda del condado de San Diego.
Starry Starry Night se ha vuelto conocido como uno de los eventos filantrópicos más importantes de San Diego y el más grande dedicado a los niños en guarda. Respetando el modo virtual, el fin del evento sigue siendo el mismo: recaudar fondos esenciales para apoyar el programa de a los defensores especiales de los niños en la corte (CASA), defensores voluntarios que se preocupan por niños abandonados o maltratados.
Programa virtual en vivo
La velada comenzara a las 7:00 p.m. con un pre evento que incluye entretenimiento en streaming en vivo para la audiencia en sus hogares o reunidos en pequeños grupos, luego, el evento principal comenzara a las 7:30 p.m. con la celebración de VFC del Destacado CASA del año, movilizadoras historias de gran impacto del programa CASA, una subasta en vivo con increíbles paquetes y la oportunidad de transformar las vidas de los niños más vulnerables levantando una paleta virtual de subasta.

Starry Starry Night es gratuito y abierto a la comunidad, pero es necesario registrarse.
