Guided by Jewish values, the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) combines donor-driven philanthropy, investing and education with trusted, personalized service enabling individuals and organizations to effectively dedicate their resources for maximum benefit in the community. JCF has been the largest Grantmaker in San Diego with over $1.6B in grants since inception in 1967.
JCF has worked with local experts to curate a fund of nonprofits confronting homelessness in San Diego. You donate to the giv4 homelessness fund, and 100% of the money received is distributed to the nonprofits. The goal of giv4 is to break down homelessness and the affordable housing crisis, so over time you can grapple with the issues and understand different solutions. $195,000 raised for 12 nonprofits taking on different aspects of homelessness in San Diego. Donations ranging in size from $12 to $25,000.
