During this COVID-19 pandemic, San Ysidro Health (SYH) has risen to the challenge of providing not just health services but also basic necessities such as food, masks and hand sanitizers to the 107,000 lives in their care – comprised of children, seniors and essential workers weathering this economic and health crisis. SYH has remained open and operating in service areas experiencing COVID infection rates up to 5 times higher than the rest of the county.

SYH is able to meet the needs of our community because of their hardworking frontline staff and through the support of their loyal donors, volunteers and community partners. One group that deserves special recognition is San Ysidro Health’s Philanthropy Leadership Council (PLC). The PLC is a group of socially responsible members who intersect because they believe in a healthy, thriving and competitive economy. They are selected on the basis of their demonstrated financial and advisory support for providing high-quality, compassionate care for all, as well as their stature in the community and within their profession. Since the start of the pandemic nearly a year ago, the PLC has led the charge in making San Ysidro Health’s COVID-19 Relief fundraising efforts a success.

Consider a transformative experience by joining our Philanthropic Leadership Council. We are happy to provide you a tour and more information in becoming part of this dynamic and influential group making a difference throughout San Diego County.
