Pathways to Financial Power
Just in Time for Foster Youth hosted its annual “Pathways to Financial Power” conference at Junior Achievement headquarters in San Diego. The Shark Tank competition included 3 finalists, five entrepreneurial leaders as judges, six angel investors awarding prize money, and keynote speaker Wendy McKinney. The overall goal of the conference is to help transition age foster youth define their power by bringing their employment options into focus, increasing self-sufficiency, leveraging supportive relationships and learning the skills needed to become financially secure.
