#1 My father was in the oil business and our family moved around; we lived in Venezuela, Libya, Oklahoma and Connecticut.
#2 Everyone should try to leave the world a better place.
#3 I have always wanted to run for a political office.
#4 We have an Old English sheepdog named Annie.
#5 I belong to a group called the Turtles; we bike together regularly and have for years.
#6 When I am having a challenging day, I just keep moving forward.
#7 I am surprised by how much I love being a Grampa… soon to be 4 times.

#9 SBCS’ inaugural golf event at the exclusive Grand Golf Club on Thursday, November 5, will celebrate the superheroes who strengthen services and help support local children and families reach their full potential – compassionate neighbors throughout our community. The tournament will include signature cocktails, delicious on-course meals and one-of-a-kind auction opportunities.
#10 The SBCS’ golf tournament supports:
· Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool for children exposed to violence and abuse,
· 24/7 Domestic Violence Response Team, and
· Emergency shelter, transitional housing and supportive services for our most vulnerable populations.
Please join us in helping hundreds of children and families impacted by abuse and violence in San Diego County.
