“The best is yet to come”

Jen Phillips, owner of Gracey Lane Collective, creates curated experiences in an intimate setting with exceptional culinary, art, entertainment, and beverages for a variety of charities including Wildcoast, Surfrider and most recently the Fallbrook Food Pantry. Jen’s first curated event, “The Beauty in Things” helped to raise money for the families impacted by the Lilac Fires.

Jen is also a specialty farmer who raises le petit gris during the winter season for escargot. She has developed a purging and infusion process even better than most who raise them in France. Two Michelin Star Chef Jason McLeod used them to create Escargot Vol-au-Vent for Gracey Lane’s curated culinary event “Pure Passion”.

10 Things About Jen Phillips & Gracey Lane Collective

1) I grew up in Pasadena, California.

2) Tolerance of others’ personal beliefs, preferences, religions, and traditions is a quality that is important to have.

3) If I had to choose one place – Istanbul, Turkey has been my all-time favorite destination.

4) We live on a small family farm, so we have quite a few animals, but our English Lab Huckleberry, our Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue Roxy and her son, Gizmo, have become an integral part of our family.

5) We also have many chickens for farm-fresh eggs. Recently, a 3rd grade class in Pasadena “virtually” adopted one of our chickens and named her “Chi Chi.”

6) Speaking to someone I truly care about and have known for a lifetime always brings me back to the things that matter most in life.

7) I have been fortunate to fall into a line of work I have fallen in love with. Creating one-of-a-kind curated sensory experiences and owning a private art gallery that features celebrated and internationally acclaimed artists such as Eric Zener, Marissa Quinn, Taylor Gallegos, Luis Garzon Masabo, Michael Walrond, Silvestre Miranda and Victor Roman is a dream I never would have imagined.

8) I treat everyone I meet along my journey with respect and kindness no matter who they are, where they are from or what their position in life is. I credit my parents and older siblings for this treasured knowledge.

9) Featured Gracey Lane professional French violinist, Gabriel Majou, was in need of assistance with a US Visa. It was a pleasure to help secure this for him. This year Gracey Lane Gallery curated, exhibited and produced (pro-bono) Wildcoast’s (a non-profit organization) first virtual art auction “Keep it Wild”. The results exceeded their fundraising goal and expectations with over $40,000 in art sales and over $100,000 in donations.

10) Our next fundraiser, “The Kindness Project” is to raise awareness and financial contributions to help procure PPE products for the elderly and individuals in need in San Diego County and Tijuana, Mexico.
